Family Law

The term 'Family Law' covers a wide variety of areas including: breakdown of marriage, divorce and reaching a financial settlement, cohabitation disputes and financial settlements when your relationship comes to an end, reaching agreements in respect of your children in relation to residence, contact and important decisions in your child's life for example in respect of their educational, health, religious and location requirements, pre nuptial and post nuptial agreements, civil partnerships and domestic violence.
Family lawyers understand that all these areas (and the above is not an exhaustive list) require the utmost sensitivity, attention to detail and empathy. A good solicitor knows that every individual will have a different set of circumstances which cannot be farmed through a generic process and you as an individual should receive tailored advice which outlines the best course of action to resolve your matter in the most efficient and cost effective approach. If this quality of service is provided, hopefully we can ease some stress and worry from your situation.
With all areas of family law, there are at least three different ways you can reach a resolution without the involvement of the family courts:
The first and simplest way is to reach an agreement between yourselves. If an agreement can be reached, you ought to ensure that it is detailed in to the appropriate document. Some examples would be a Consent Order or Separation Deed in respect of the financial agreement for divorcees and ex cohabitees, a Contact Agreement, Parenting Plan or Consent Order in respect of children matters and Pre nuptial and Post nuptial agreements for those who wish to plan ahead for the 'just in case' scenario.
It is essential that you receive independent legal advice at the outset, ensuring you are fully informed in respect of your position and rights and are able to reach a fair agreement. It is also extremely important to note that these documents should be drafted by a solicitor with the relevant expertise in the area. This will prevent any misunderstanding and cause for misinterpretation and in some cases it can ensure that neither party to the agreement has any recourse to make further claim at a later date.
It is a common misconception that solicitors could exacerbate a situation where two parties on amicable terms have decided to go their separate ways but still have some issues which need to be resolved. This is not the case. We are here to provide you with good quality information and advice and to help draft the correct documents. In situations such as these, this is the most sensible option you have as it provides certainty and finality for you both. If you are ever in doubt, you can contact a solicitor who is a member of Resolution. Solicitors who are members of Resolution deal with matters in a conciliatory and non-confrontational way. All of our family solicitors are members of Resolution.
The second way in which an agreement can be reached is through the use of mediation services. There are many different schemes designed to promote settlements between parties without the involvement of the courts. It is important to note that if an agreement can be reached through mediation, it should be drafted in to the appropriate document by solicitors as mediators are not lawyers and the agreement will not be binding until drafted into one of the documents explained above.
If the above two options are simply not viable in your case, then you can instruct solicitors to enter into negotiations on your behalf. We will always strive to reach a speedy settlement without the involvement of the court however sometimes this is necessary and you will be advised appropriately when it is. Be ensured, the court process is designed to help and not to hinder and so one way or another, your matter can be brought to a successful conclusion.

Top Harley Davidson Accessories for 2010

Bikes will come and bikes will go, but Harley Davidson will remain the bike to have. A Harley Davidson motorcycle is a prized possession for its owners, almost like a badge of honour. Quite obviously then, these people tend to be very careful about the upkeep and maintenance of their Harleys. At the same time, they don't mind spending some extra money to pamper their bikes with exciting Harley Davidson accessories. The makers of Harley Davidson produce some very suave accessories for these proud owners, and, the best part is that these accessories come with some very cool functions as well.
The following is a list of the top Harley Davidson accessories for 2010.
1. Harley LED Light- The Davidson LED light lamp has distinct advantages over a traditional incandescent light- it is whiter, brighter and it offers superior visibility in the dark. The headlight is composed of two horizontal D-shaped lenses which produce a "daylight colour impression". The light produced as a result of this impression is more focussed and natural than traditional bike lights. The installation process is fairly easy as no external ballast or wiring is required. To top it off, the impeccable design of the LED lights adds an oomph factor to an already ravishing Harley bike.
2. Tri-Bar LED Tail Lamp- This Harley D motorbike accessory combines suave design with efficient functionality. The Tri-Bar LED tail lamp is designed to fit with both the bobtail and the rear fender. The intensity of the colour of the smoked lens changes in accordance with the speed of the bike. For example, when the brakes are applied, there is an instant change in the intensity of the red colour. Again, the installation process is a breeze and like all accessories produced by the makers of Harley Davidson, this one's a looker as well.
3. Black Dial- This fancy accessory is a combination of a speedometer and a tachometer, with a dash of style, of course. It is designed primarily like a dial, along with an LCD screen, which has all the vital stats- right from odometer readings to engine RPM and vehicle speed. The best part is that you can access all this information in one single glance.
4. Road Tech Zūmo 665 GPS Navigator with XM- This is, by far, the coolest Harley accessory in a long time. As the name indicates, it is primarily a GPS navigator. But, you would be highly mistaken if you discount it as just another GPS navigator. It comes with some amazing functions- it provides continuous updates about the weather and the traffic situation, and it is also equipped with a satellite radio. Clearly then, the Road Tech Zumo Navigator is a delight for every Harley Davidson owner looking to pamper his/her bike.

Five Steps To Full Compensation For Your Personal Injury Claim

If you have been injured by the fault of another, such as in a car accident, there are important steps to follow to ensure that you are treated fairly by big insurance and receive the compensation you deserve.
1. Document Your Injury!
The most important step you can take in order to obtain full compensation is to fully and completely document your injury. If your injury is not corroborated by someone else then not only will the insurance company act as if it never happened, but you may not be able to adequately prove your case to a jury if nesessary.
This documentation concerns two elements: [a] fault of the party causing the event and [b] proof of the cause of your injury.
2. Have a Report Made Immediately
If your case involves a traffic accident it is imperative that you call the police so a report can be made of the circumstances of the car accident. Do not move your car until the police arrive. By verifying the position of the vehicles the police officer can aid in documenting fault.
If your injury was caused by slipping on a foreign substance in a store, you want to immediately have a manager take your information and have an ambulance called if your injurires are significant
3. Seek Competent Medical Attention
If you feel any pain or stiffness at all you should go to the hospital emergency room as soon as possible {preferably have an ambulance take you from the scene to the hospital}. This ensures early documentation of your injury and the early intervention hopefully will aid the healing process.
If your injury persists you should, within the next several days, follow up with your family doctor and seek early referral to a specialist that treats your type of injury. An orthopedic specialist is ordinarily the most competent doctor to treat your injury if it involves neck, back or extremity injury. The doctor will also be able to write a report explaining the nature and cause of your injury and testify in court if necessary.
4. Follow Your Doctor's Advice
You should follow your doctor's advice regarding the treatment necessary for your injury. The insurance company will not take you seriously if you do not follow doctor's orders. They will infer that you must not be very injured if you do not do what is necessary to try to get better.
5. Hire An Experienced Personal Injury Attorney
Insurance companies are in business to take in premiums and pay out as little as possible on claims. You will be dealing with an experienced adjustor whose job is to do just that. Therefore, if you want to get the best result, you need someone on your side whose job is to get you full and fair compensation and is experienced in doing so. You can obtain the services of a lawyer on a contingency fee basis. This means that their fee depends on how much they recover for you.
Following these five steps will help ensure that you obtain the full and complete recovery you deserve.

What is a Mesothelioma Lawyer?

What is a Mesothelioma Lawyer?
Mesothelioma lawyers deal specifically with cases concerning people being exposed to asbestos in the work environment. Asbestos was used as a building material years ago because it was not flammable and did not conduct electricity. However, later studies have shown it can cause some forms of cancer. Mesothelioma, a form of cancer that affects the inner lining of the chest, is one of those forms of cancer. Because asbestos was a common building material and is still found, there has been a call for mesothelioma lawyers to look into cases of people who were exposed to asbestos and have been diagnosed with this form of cancer.Mesothelioma lawyers deal specifically with cases concerning people being exposed to asbestos in the work environment. Because asbestos was a common building material and is still found, there has been a call for mesothelioma lawyers to look into cases of people who were exposed to asbestos and have been diagnosed with this form of cancer.
The Mesothelioma Lawyer and Asbestos Cases
Before asbestos was found to be a potential cause for cancer, it was seen as a great building material. Therefore it was used a lot, and both workers who installed it and employees who worked in these buildings were unknowingly exposed to a cancerous element. These people are only now seeing the effects of their exposure to asbestos, and are bringing cases against the companies that either installed it or owned the buildings. The cases are increasing, causing a need for a specialized brand of lawyer - the mesothelioma lawyer.
Some types of asbestos that can cause cancer:
  • Amosite
  • Anthophyllite
  • Chrysotile
  • Crocidolite
Mesothelioma Lawyers and the Courtroom
Though has not yet been definitively proven that asbestos cause Mesothelioma, many studies have been done to prove a link between the two... enough studies to make mesothelioma lawyers very busy. The asbestos is made of loosely bonded fibers, which can easily be separated. These fibers can float in the air and easily get into your respiratory system. Before these studies, when asbestos was used as a common material, no one suggested the need for proper safety procedures - a fact that mesothelioma lawyers point to as a reason their clients now have this form of cancer.

Finding the Perfect Free Mason Ring to Show People

It is only natural to be proud of something if it makes a positive difference. There are many reasons why people are interested in Freemasonry. There are those who are curious about esoteric topics and those who want to become involved in charitable work. These are two very common reasons for individuals becoming interested in masonry and wanting to join Masonic lodges.
In order to be a contributing member, takes a lot of self discipline. This is exhibited in the study that is involved. This is a system that requires a great deal of contemplation and reading. As the Freemason becomes more knowledgeable about this ancient system they also take part in raising funds for worthy causes and actually carrying out charitable good deeds. Many people find this is a most rewarding way to spend their time.
It is a well known fact that Masonic lodges do raise a lot of money to benefit the less fortunate. This makes Freemasons very proud of their association to Freemasonry. Often this pride is exhibited in the form of a free mason ring.
A Freemason will understand it is very important to wear a ring that has an accurate symbol. For those who are uninitiated but want to buy a ring to present to a family member or loved one as a gift it is advisable to use an official source. An official source would be a gift shop that is under the management of a Masonic lodge. There are many such gift shops that also offer an online shopping service. It is great to have an easy means of getting such a ring. However, the fact you will be getting a ring with an accurate symbol from an official source is most important of all.
When you look through a catalogue of rings you will see the signet ring is very popular. A Masonic ring will be formed with a metal surface that is flat and unadorned. You can choose the symbol you want on the ring. The most popular is the Masonic square and compass. This symbol can be with or without the central G. Your symbol of choice will be pressed onto the flat surface and it will leave a raised design.
When you choose your free mason ring you can make it as ornate and eye catching or as plain as you want. The ring is a piece of jewellery and so it can be made of silver, gold or platinum. The modern signet ring is no longer used to seal documents with wax and so you can have your ring decorated with precious gems if you so choose.
It could be said masonry is a way of life and so wearing a specially designed ring is a means of expressing your devotion. Make sure your free mason ring shows the world an accurate and official symbol. A ring is usually worn every day and you want to be confident you are showing an officially recognised Masonic symbol.

How to Test Your Titanium Masonic Ring to See If it's Real

Titanium is a light weight yet strong and durable metal. It is used for a variety of jobs and is extensively used in submarines, satellites, Ferrari hubcaps and aircrafts.
The metal has a lower heat conductivity that makes it warmer to touch. These are also used for making rings and other jewelry. These are simple and elegant and come with a smooth finish that makes them soft to touch.
The biggest difficulty is that titanium is an extremely difficult material to work with but the result more than makes up for the effort.
Titanium Masonic Rings are extremely popular with freemasons. In fact these are designed by a mason and are used only by masons. The available sizes are 8 to 14, and all the rings are engraved with a compass and square.
These are gifted to brothers who have crossed a particular level and displayed with pride.
• Fakes make more profits
A number of reputed organizations offer these rings in their huge stores and they can even be ordered over the internet. However, certain people make fake imitations that can easily deceive the eye.
These look and feel like original titanium rings but do not last for long as they are made of an inferior quality metal. They are cheaper and easier to make and as they are sold as titanium rings, they generate a much larger profit on their sale.
Also, by the time a person realizes that he or she has been duped with a fake, it is usually too late.
• Testing the ring
The best way to avoid getting cheated is to test the ring so as to ensure that you get an original Titanium Masonic Ring. This can be done by following a series of simple steps:
1. Feel the ring all around and hold it against a source of light to see if there are any scratches. It should feel completely smooth and not have any scratches otherwise chances are that it is a fake that has used some other metal.
2. Titanium is a relatively strong metal and hence the rings made out of it do not get easily bent or scratched. Hence, check the ring by banging it on a hard surface and see if there are any signs of rough usage. The presence of any such signs denotes that the ring is a fake and the customer should skip such a store completely.
3. The last step to check the authenticity is to see if it gets corroded by salt water. An original ring will not be impacted by salt water no matter how long it is exposed to it.
A fake, on the other hand, will definitely show some signs of corrosion if immersed in salt water. This is however not a very practical method as the ring has to be kept in salt water for a long time.
These rings are extremely popular especially as gift items and are worn with pride. The easiest way is to select a reputed organization for the purchase.
Quick Recap:
How to Test your Titanium Masonic Rings to see if it's Real?
• Feel the ring all around and hold it against a source of light
• Titanium Masonic Ring is a relatively strong metal and hence the rings made out of it do not get easily bent or scratched.
• It gets corroded by salt water.

If you're looking to purchase Masonic rings it probably means you're a member of the Freemasons. A group that can trace itself historically back to June 24th, 1717 when four London lodges met to establish the Grand Lodge of England, but some state that the masons have ties going all the way back to Ancient Egypt.
The tools represented in the Masons symbol are working tools (the square, level, plumb, etc.) which remind members of the tenets of the craft. Members today are said to be of the 'craft.' Freemasonry exists in many parts of the globe as a basically social club with many levels of status for the members to work their way through. When a member has reached a higher degree there is a ceremony to officially confer the new ranking.
Stonemason's tools represented in the Masonic symbol are used to stand for basic virtues. The three overriding Masonic principles are brotherly love, relief, and truth. Most will wear rings bearing the symbol of the Masons with other certain attributes like background colors to indicate that they are a Mason and come from a specific lodge or that you have attained a specific degree of status within the Masons.

They are quite bold in statement, with a wide band and some containing gemstones and gold or silver. Masonic Ring Symbolism - Joshua's Perambulation of Jericho

THE PERAMBULATION
"And it came to pass at the seventh time, when
the priests blew with trumpets, Joshua said
unto the people, Shout; for the Lord hath given you the city."
Jos. 6:16
As an indication that they are duly and truly prepared to be initiated, passed and raised in the first three Masonic degrees, candidates for Freemasonry are caused to circumambulate the lodge. Also referred to as a perambulation, the candidate's travels during the degree is one of the more important ritual tasks to be performed. Hymns and prayers are recited, drawn from passages in the Holy Writings. Depending upon whether he is being initiated as an Entered Apprentice, passed to the degree of Fellowcraft, or raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason, as candidate's perambulation becomes increasingly extensive. It is fair to ask both why this tradition is followed and what it symbolizes.
The scripture cited above is from the book of Joshua and refers to the circumambulation by the priests prior to the collapsing of the walls of Jericho. Since it is not likely that mere trumpet blasts caused stone to crumble, either the trumpet symbolizes a much more powerful force, or the entire episode is intended to convey a wiser and more serious truth.
In his recent book, Lost Secrets of the Sacred Ark, Laurence Gardner hypothesizes that the trumpet represented a powerful fusion force emanating from the Ark of the Covenant. While that may be true, there is presently no way of either confirming or denying that possibility. However, in that the Old Testament, as well as the entirety of the Holy Bible is littered with allegorical tales, it is equally likely that Freemasonry, which has been in existence longer than Mr. Gardner has been writing, adopted the allegorical meaning as the foundation for the present day perambulation by candidates in Masonic lodges.
During ancient rites of the worship of Deity, designated holy men moved solemnly around sacred objects in a circular manner. Such movement was an integral part of the ritual used by the Hindus and Buddhists. In Islam, circumambulation is used during holy services at Mecca. In each, the movement was intended to represent the spiritual transition of man from daily life to spiritual perfection. That transition was to be accomplished in stages as each man moved more closely in his life and education to the spiritual energy of the Deity.
This ancient custom is retained in Masonry, but its meaning has been generally forgotten. In some present-day Masonic organizations a tension exists between those brethren who wish to pursue the esoteric lessons taught by the Craft and those brethren who prefer a strict adherence to Masonic ritual, which has evolved over at least the past two centuries. Some in the esoteric camp say that the rigid adherence to ritual neglects the more important tenets of sacred ancient philosophy. Certain adherents to the "ritual-only" camp believe that Masonry is practiced in its purest form by working to attain "word-perfect" ritualistic performance. In classic Hermetic tradition, both are equally correct and incorrect.
It is perilous to work in Masonry under the belief that an adherence to Masonic ritual is not Masonry and, therefore, should be relegated to the junk-heap of past relics. It is no less perilous to ignore the fact that Masonic ritual enjoys a sacred connection with the religions and philosophies of the past. More often than not, if one looks carefully into the Masonic past, he will discover that there exists a holy union between the approved ritual and the esoteric knowledge it is intended to convey. Indeed, a Mason may actually discover new joys in attending ritual performances once he learns more about the rich sacred past.
The candidate's travels, or perambulation of the lodge room, are intended to symbolize the state of spiritual attainment associated with the aid of each of the first three degrees of Masonry. As an Entered Apprentice, the newly initiated Mason learns to humbly submit himself to the fact that knows little, if anything, about what the Craft teaches. In his state of ignorance, the initiated candidate is introduced to the tools of learning that, when studied under the guidance of the more experienced brethren, will eventually enlighten his spirit. A Fellowcraft is presumed to have mastered the rudiments of Masonic symbolism and at least be knowledgeable about the fact that Masonry uses symbols to impart wise and serious truths. His spirit is in need of solid food and, thus, the candidate is led to the study of the liberal arts and sciences, which he is expected to read and understand through the prism of spirituality instilled by Masonry. While continuing to require spiritual food, the Master Mason is expected to take the lessons he has learned and usefully offer them to the community in which he resides by living the spiritual life he has been taught. The perambulation not only symbolizes the candidate's spiritual state, but also the three stages of preparation necessary before the world may expect to benefit from that spirituality.
In ancient religious practices, the perambulation was believed to a necessary precedent to calling forth the presence of Deity. This once pervasive practice survives today in several of the occult cultures and has fallen into general disfavor. Masonry does not employ the perambulation in hopes that it will magically cause God to appear, for the Craft understands and teaches that the Great Architect is always present. The purpose today is to provide the candidate and brethren with a ritual practice that focuses the mind upon that presence and instills a prayerful attitude throughout the entire ritualistic performance.
Freemasons around the globe are keenly interested in discovering the roots and origins of the Craft. University professors throughout Europe, as well as elsewhere are researching historical archives inspecting new information and re-examining already existing material in hopes of one day being able to declare with certainty whence came Freemasonry. More likely than not, those roots and origins will not easily be discovered without first understanding that Masonry is about man's relationship to God.
From time immemorial, man has questioned himself about God's existence. The fraternity of Freemasons consists of men who have decided that He does exist and who openly profess their faith in His existence. A man cannot become a Mason without a belief in the Supreme Being. Even though he already possesses faith in God before joining the Craft, a candidate may not have a very developed idea of what that means to himself, his family, his friends and his country. While Freemasonry does not teach such a man about the existence of God, it does teach him how God relates to His creations and how we who are created in His image may benefit those with whom we come into contact each and every day.
What is stated here may be tested by you in the setting of your own lodge. The next time you are seated in a lodge room and observe the ritualistic perambulation, silence yourself and allow God to speak to your heart throughout the entire performance. There will be plenty of time to talk to the member sitting next to you after the performance is concluded. Consider the stages of your own spiritual development and try to identify your spiritual strengths and weaknesses. Later, work very hard to improve upon your strengths and to eliminate your weaknesses. If you try this exercise in lodge on a regular basis, more likely than not you will discover that you are practicing real Masonry and in the doing also discover the basis for the origins of the Craft to which you belong.

Masonic Rings Represent Elegant Symbolism

When you become a Freemason you are a joining at fraternal organization with a history that scholars date back to the early 17th century or earlier. Today's members keep this rich history and tradition alive by following guidelines that are honored and respected. This includes wearing Masonic rings that display to other Freemasons your personal lodge membership or degree in the organization.
While the square, level and compass are the standard symbols associated with all Masonic lodges, many orders do have their own unique signs and symbols that are specific to their order or lodge affiliation within the larger fraternity of freemasons across the world. Shopping for Masonic rings online is a great way to view different designs of this meaningful piece of jewelry that will act as a visual symbol of your dedication.
As with all jewelry crafted, price ranges vary depending on your own personal taste and selection. Many newly entered apprentices find straightforward traditional designs of these rings to be the best models to start with before considering having a custom ring made. The most popular materials used are stainless steel, silver, titanium, and gold. Having a special engraved message added to the interior part of the band is a special touch if you are giving the ring as a gift to a friend or family member that has joined a lodge.
Longer standing members often choose to have special custom rings designed with each degree they gain over years of loyal commitment or their fellow members give them as an honored gift. Searching for Masonic items online will put you in contact with many reputable outlets that can deliver exactly what you need from a simple design to a more elaborate one made to your exact specifications.
These are elegant and important symbols that are essential to any Mason that is active in the organization. When deciding on a ring it is always good to keep in mind that it will most likely be passed down from generation to generation as a prized family heirloom. Whether you are shopping online for Masonic rings or in person you will find the right one for you or one to be given as a gift.
Only you know what you want in a ring and can afford to spend. When you contact retailers ask them about engraving. Even the most affordable or expensive custom made rings can mean more with a short inscription inside the band.

A Beginners Guide to Masonic Rings

When you join the freemasons, you are joining an extremely old secular fraternity and there are certain dress rules that need to be followed when you attend meetings and are a part of the ceremonies. Choosing and wearing appropriate jewellery is an important part of this, along with the other items of Masonic regalia that are also necessary to wear.
Masonic rings are an important jewellery piece that you can wear to signify that you belong to the lodge in general, or a specific piece that reflects the particular order you are involved with. Each order will have their own signs and symbols, however the square and compass is a fairly standard symbol across all Masonic lodges from all around the world.
Most men who enter the lodge will have a family member or friend that also belongs to the same lodge. If you have only recently joined and you are looking to purchase a ring, other items of jewellery, or regalia, you can ask them for their opinion on what items you should start acquiring. A ring is a fairly good place to start and it will definitely show you are a member of the lodge.
Searching for Masonic rings online is a very good idea, as you will have a greater choice and will be able to view many individual pieces or sets, until you find what it is you are looking for. You can choose a simple yet traditional design in gold or silver, or you may have the option to have your own design custom made. One of the most important aspects to making any purchase for Masonic items online is to ensure that the company you are dealing with is honest and authentic. Ideally, a Masonic jewellery expert should also be a Freemason and should therefore have some inside knowledge as to the rings that they are offering and the meaning behind the various signs and symbols.
The rings that you come across will vary in price according to the quality of the gold or silver, as well as the intricacies required in the design. You will find that they are also provided with their own keepsake box and you will be able to use this to store your ring safely when it is not in use. It is also a good idea to hold onto the box as long as you have the ring because many masons will pass these items of jewellery down through the generations as each new male family member joins the order.
If you are looking online and you think you have come across a reputable company, have a look and see where the store is located and if there is a phone number that you can use to make contact and ask questions about the various items available for purchase. If you are hesitant to make a purchase online and you live close by, it could be worth a trip to the store to see the rings and other items firsthand.
Are you or a member of your family a Freemason? If so then you need to speak with Letchworth's. This company can help with Masonic Rings. Any questions you may have and for more information on the company please visit the website at http://www.letchworthshop.co.uk/

Gold Masonic Rings For That Special Person

If the special person in your life is involved with the Masonic Lodge, they will definitely appreciate a thoughtful gift, and this could be the gift of gold Masonic rings, pocket watches, Masonic cufflinks or even some lapel pins. There is a wide range of jewellery to choose from and a great deal of it is now available for ordering online.
Rings will range from inexpensive to top quality and it is sometimes difficult to be sure what you are purchasing online. If you are looking at making an online purchase, ensure that the company you are dealing with is reputable. The Masonic Lodge has been around for many years and a freemason can tell the difference between an item of jewellery that is true to the lodge and one that is clearly not.
When looking to purchase gold Masonic rings you will find that there are many wonderful styles to choose from. The majority of them will be 9 carat gold and you will have a choice of faces between oval and square. One of the more traditional designs involves a square ring with the Compasses 'Craft or blue lodge' ring for a new Master Mason in various colours in Gold with a square and compasses logo on a black, blue or red base. Plain or ornate rings are available with 'diamond' chips around the outside.
For other orders there are 'Fleur de Lis' rings or 'Skull and Crossbones' rings or rings with the emblem of the particular degree on it. Of course you need to know what order the recipient belongs to, so you purchase the correct ring.
There are a range of rings for the Ancient and Accepter Scottish rite, starting with the unique 14th degree ring and a range of double-headed eagle rings for general wear.
Although this may sound confusing to someone who is not a freemason, your special person who is, will understand and will hopefully appreciate the choice you have made and the thought that has gone into it. If you are still unsure, it might be a good idea to show them the designs and let them choose the ring that they desire. This will ensure that they receive the right ring when it is delivered. Choosing the correct ring size can also be difficult when you are looking for a surprise gift.
Many specialty stores and online Masonic suppliers will actually custom make your ring after you have placed the order. For this reason you can be assured of receiving a top quality gift for your special person. It is also important to place your order well ahead of time, as custom made items will take longer to be made before they are then delivered or available for pick up.
So the next time you need to purchase a gift for the freemason in your life, consider looking for some great gold rings or other jewellery items, that they will be sure to appreciate.
Gold Masonic Rings can be difficult to find but now thankfully Letchworth's is a London based company that specialises in all things stonemason. For more information please visit the website at http://letchworthshop.co.uk

Cheap Generators - You'll Be Sorry If You Are a Mobile Auto Detailer

A couple of years ago, I was talking to a startup entrepreneur who was trying to set up a mobile detailing company in South Africa. We talked about the equipment he might need, and he admitted he needed to buy a generator. I recommend that he get a hold of a Honda generator which is much more reliable than any of the other brands. He told me it costs too much for those types of generators, but they did have quite a few Chinese made generators which were only one-third the cost available in his city.
Indeed, this is what many of the contractors use there and when they break, they just buy a new one. Yes, that might be a good strategy, and there are always people who wish to save money. In fact here in the United States some people buy junky equipment to start their mobile auto detailing business, and I've seen more than my fair share of cheap generators on the back of trailers, in the back of pickup trucks, or in car detailing vans.
Not long ago, I noted a cheap generator for sale, only $89.99 and the ad said it was a $90.00 savings, which would put the list price at $179.99 normally. Still, that is a decent price as well, but price is only one of the important things to consider when buying equipment for your mobile auto detailing business you see.
Interestingly enough, I was reminded about this yesterday when a car detailer had contacted me by e-mail asking what type of equipment he should purchase to get his business going. I suppose this article would be good advice for him, and I will probably give him the same lecture that I'm giving you here today. That is this; you'd be better off buying the more reliable generator because it will use less fuel, it'll last five times as long, and it will be much quieter when you use it.
The last thing you'd want to do is have a noisy generator, and unable to talk to a customer who asked you a question about getting their SUV detailed, and then walked off because they couldn't hear what you were saying. In some cities they also have noise ordinances, and you really don't want to disturb the peace just because you are detailing a car early in the morning, you don't want to wake up the neighborhood, especially in the high rent district where most of the best detailing customers happen to reside. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.

Understanding the Benefits of Keyless Car Remotes

Are you worried for the safety of your car? If yes, then installing keyless car remote systems would be the best solution to ensure security of the vehicle. With the code-based security system of the remotes, you can rest assured for safety of the car. Read on to know more about the amazing keyless car remotes.
With the growing security concerns of vehicles, it is essential to put a strong security system in place. Keyless car remotes are just the best solution for all your security requirements. In fact, these security systems have emerged as one of the popular ways to safeguard your car.
Keyless car remotes have come up as an exceptional advancement in automobile sector today. Designed using cutting-edge technology, these devices work on code-based security system. The remotes consist of chips that are present inside the devices and allow transmission of signals from sender to the receiver's end.
Key fob is an integral part of these remote systems that contains all the electronic components of the devices. It is responsible for the emission and reception of the signals. As soon as you press the button on the fob, the chip emits radio waves to the radio transmitter placed at the other end. The coded signal is detected and decoded by the transmitter that follows instructions of the keyless car remotes systems.
Although most of the popular automakers include the technology in their car models these days, but keyless car remotes systems can be installed in old model as well. These remote systems can perform all the functions of traditional car keys and that too in a technologically advanced manner.
Gone are the days when traditional car keys were thought as the best option to secure your car from theft or damage. On the contrary, it was very easy for miscreants and thieves to unlock your car and drive it away from you. However, with the coming of keyless car remote systems, you can rest assured for its security.
As the system is based upon code, it is not at all simple to unlock the vehicle. If the thief tries to access your car using another car remote system, he would surely fail in his efforts. The sensors in the car respond to the signals emitted by its particular remote system and it is simply useless to pair it with any other remote system.
In case the thief somehow manages to get inside the car, he would not be able to drive it away. Since the ignition is controlled by the security system, it is not at all possible to start the engine even if the thief gets into the car. Moreover, the alarm system present in the car starts to beep continuously if any unwanted attempt is made to enter into the vehicle.
Besides the security feature, keyless entry systems come with other excellent attributes that provide a lot of ease and convenience to users. Just press a button on the remote and you can lock/unlock the door of the vehicle. Also, when you are loaded with lots of bags, these car remotes provide you the facility to open the trunk of the car automatically.
Unlike traditional keys you don't need to touch the car, in fact you can control its activities from a specified range. With such technologically advanced features of keyless car remotes, these have become one of the most popular gadgets in automobile sector today.
The writer of this article is associated with Fob Keyless Inc. that offers replacement keys, transponder keys and keyless car remotes for different car models at competitive prices.

Wholesale Dealership Detailing Versus the Retail Detail Discussed

Recently, I was talking to an auto detailing who was quite experienced and talented at detailing cars, and was by far the best in his area, perhaps the whole region. Still, he'd mostly done retail detailing, that is to say auto detailing for personal vehicles and business people, not wholesale detailing for dealerships. Still, he rather finds the concept of production style detailing intriguing. Thus, he pondered if he should offer as high as a 50% discount to get a large book of business. Okay so, let's talk.
You see, actually, I'm not sure if I would try to correspond wholesale detailing with retail detail. In other words rather than taking your retail detailing menu and cutting it in half, or some certain percentage it might be more wise to think of it as a totally different business model. New car dealers need new car preps perhaps, and that means removing all the paper stickers, and everything off of the vehicles coming into the dealership, and perhaps putting a glaze wax, or a polymeric solvent clear coat wax on them. Perhaps "Seal It" by Auto Magic.
Then of course, the car dealerships will want you to detail those vehicles they take in trade that they wish to put on the lot and sell as used cars. They will come in all different sorts of conditions. Some of these cars will be utterly destroyed and they will have dog hair wedged into the carpet or depending on the area those vehicles were used out in a field from a farmer or oil services worker. They will be a mess. At that point you'd want to charge even more than you charge for retail detail, do you see that point? Nevertheless, the car dealership is probably going to want one price for a;
1. Pickup,
2. Car,
3. SUV.
You might choose a price for each and sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose, or you might consider an extra surcharge for vehicles that are totally destroyed. If you take digital pictures before-and-after, you can justify this in case there is a discrepancy or argument over it.
Well, that's at least some of my advice. It is my contention that wholesale detailing for car dealerships, auto auctions, and for banks that have repos can provide the auto detailer with plenty of work. Therefore it's worth looking into. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.

Will New Car Clear Coat Technology Hurt The Auto Detailing Sector - Could Be, I'll Explain

Now then, as an auto detailer you might have no idea who the Carlyle Group is, but I am sure you've heard of DuPont as they are makers of many detailing products. DuPont also has been a multi-decade leader in auto-paints and coatings. What you are waxing on today are probably coatings created by DuPont. Well, it turns out the Carlyle Group is a powerfully connected player in the mergers and acquisitions venue.
Since DuPont has sold this currently struggling business unit, and with the new owners you could expect the next generation of auto clear coats, auto finishes which clean themselves, and may not need waxing, or clear coat polymer protections. There was an interesting piece in the Wall Street Journal on August 31, 2012 titled; "Auto-Paints Unit Sold to the Carlyle Group for $4.9 Billion," by Doug Cameron and Saabira Chaudhuri. What I am saying is this is a very big deal - potentially a game changer for the auto detailing industry.
Consider this; today's modern clear coat cars have extremely good finishes, and they are very easy to wax with a polymeric solvent product. In fact, they are so easy to clean and make shine that many of the top detailing products supply companies sell soaps which also contain wax, therefore you can do it all in one step. Also consider the Dry Wash products out there these days. Now then, what if the future finishes on these cars clean themselves, then they don't need wax and they need even less preventive maintenance.
It's going to be very hard for a mobile detail operator, or someone operating a fixed site detail shop to convince a high-end car owner that they need a special protective coating or wax on a car which advertises it never needs anything like that. You see my point? In the future, I am sure there will be automotive manufacturers advertising such - that the car is guaranteed never to need any wax. A big part of auto detailing happens to be putting on a coat of wax, and that might be perhaps half of the most costly services that an auto detailing technician might charge for. In other words, this could cut the amount of money they make on each car they detail in half.
Some might say that this will never happen, but I watched PPG and other companies create self-cleaning bacterial coatings, and self-cleaning glass. These same types of technologies will soon be used on automobiles, self-cleaning cars, which if Google has anything to say about it will also be driving themselves, perhaps your competition, which is an entirely different topic. Please consider all this and think on it, because the future is coming fast.

How to Install a Car Body Kit

Fitting a car body kit
Knowing how to install a car body kit sounds a bit DIY, however, unless you have had some personal experience, or are blessed with special capacities when it involves DIY jobs, the actual installation is most likely better left to an expert, or at the very least an amateur who has previous jobs that you have actually looked over and been impressed by.
Regardless if you choose to take it to a workshop and have the specialists to undertake the job, or get an enthusiastic amateur who really understands exactly what they're doing, is ultimately up to you.
That being said, if you are after someone to do the job for you, where are you going to get a person that's willing to install your car body kit?
The truth is, that fitting a body kit, regardless of which sort of automobile you are going to be installing it on, is not for the faint at heart. This process is not a job intended for your typical hobbyist.
An obvious idea, would be to ask a person who already did have a body kit installed, in recent times.
There are other resources at hand, one of which may not be such an obvious area to find your body kit installer. This would certainly be at one of the plentiful custom auto fairs, events that are enjoyed all over the place and in many towns, at fairly routine intervals.
The explanation for suggesting this choice, is due to the fact that you are going to come across a ton of automobiles that have actually had body kits fitted, yet a lot more important, these car or truck fairs are frequented by custom auto fans and enthusiasts.
If absolutely nothing else, you can expect to most likely be deluged with suggestions and referrals from all and sundry at these shows, as everyone has their personal inclination on ways to go about the project and, who is the best to have everything done by.
Car body kits are always part of the discussion on the custom car forums and message boards. The net is a key source for data in the custom car landscape, because custom fanatics like to talk about their prized projects.
Take a couple of hours to look around on the web, as you will not just find graphics of the various types of body kits, but you will likely also find vital details on any troubles, modification techniques, tips and pointers about installation, as well as the names and business numbers of professional kit installers.
The obvious areas to start looking, would definitely be the yellow pages, or the web. Make sure to also ask your body kit manufacturer for the highly recommended dealerships in your region or, recommended workshops that might do your job. A decent mechanic will definitely understand what kind of body kit suits your vehicle.
Be certain that the workshop you decide on, has substantial knowledge of this type of job and, can do a excellent job at spraying the kit at the same time. Ask for any pictures of past works that the workshop has done.
Also, you need to find out what exactly the body kit consists of, as well as what material the sections are constructed from. It can be fiberglass, carbon fiber, FRP Composite, Polyurethane, or Duraflex.
The kind of composition will certainly make a difference, regarding the vehicle's function is, the places you mainly drive the car, the spraying of the kit, info on patches and repairs, and the like. We will go over such matters in another article.
If you already have the kit, unpack everything in the package, to be sure it's the correct kit. This point pertains to making certain it is going to fit your particular auto's year, make and model.
Be sure to check for installation instructions, or even a guide with the kit. if there isn't one, talk to the manufacturer about providing one, before you start. This is important, because blunders do happen and, in cases where some element doesn't fit, it is never going to. At the very least with a manual, you should easily find the reason for the problem prior to continuing and trying to force the issue.
You will definitely need to know if it's important for pre-existing factory parts to be removed before the kit will fit. Keep away from investing in body kits that demand factory pieces from your vehicle's frame to end up having to be taken out, as this just makes the job more complicated, more protracted, and even more costly.
In the end, no matter how you decide to have your car body kit done, it is the one certain way to a speedy character modification to your car.

Upgrading Your Discovery 3 Look With the Discovery 4 Grill

If you are one of the unfortunate Land Rover Discovery 3 owners that purchased their vehicles within the last year before the Discovery 4 was released, then you have probably experienced the bitter taste in the back of your mouth when you saw how similar the two models are, and it seems that the closer you purchased it to the new release the worse the taste gets.
Fortunately, it is possible to fix all that and prevent all the frustration by making a few cosmetic changes with a Discovery kit. The kits that you get these days are all designed to upgrade the way your vehicle looks and in some instances they are also meant to improve some of the performance specifications of the vehicle as well.
The really good news is that you can get access to all of these accessories via the regular supply channels as well as from after-market sales channels that manufacture parts and accessories specifically Land Rover even though they are not a part of the company itself. Generic parts are a cost effective way to replace, repair and upgrade your vehicle when you have a tight budget to work with.
A Discovery Kit is the Order of the Day
Prior to 2004 you could only get your hands on the old Series II models that were boxy and rugged, but they were probably one of the sturdiest and most reliable off-road vehicles you could find. When they released the Discovery 3, it was big change because they had incorporated a sleek, suburban design that spurned popularity amongst young urban professionals, housewives and businessmen alike.
If you had to ask the owners how they feel about their cars, the majority of them would tell you that they love their Landy's and that they would never part with their Land Rover even if you paid them. That explains the extent of their feelings, and it certainly explains why the bitter taste when they released the newer version.
When you have to compare the two models side-by-side you notice that the overall appearance is virtually identical apart from a few minor cosmetic changes to front grill, the lights and one or two of the trimmings both inside and outside of the vehicle. All the other changes have been made to the engine and on-board electronics which you won't see at face value and can only be experienced while you are driving.
Once you realise and accept that as a given, you won't feel so done-in by the newer model and you can go back to enjoying your discovery 3. If you still feel the need to keep up with the changes, you can look for a kit that does the trick nicely, and you can carry on driving your car unabated by the newer model and no one else would be the wiser.
Upgrading Your Discovery 3 Look with the Discovery 4 Grill
The biggest difference between the two models is the front grill, and by simply replacing yours with the new one you would have won half the battle. Unfortunately, it doesn't always stop there because there is so much more you can do to your car than simply keeping up with the Jones'. Why stop with a grill, when you can change your vents, upgrade your lights, add chrome finishes and install side-steps and satellite navigation?
You can find accessories that function as part of the vehicle, or you can simply upgrade the way it looks. The choices are virtually endless - provided you have the budget for it! It's a great way for Landy owners to keep their vehicles a while longer without feeling the pressure of buying a new car or worrying that their "previous model" is out of date.
Functional Accessories for Your Land Rover
Keeping your car up to date is one thing, but what about all the people that actually take their vehicles off-road? Surely cosmetic appearances are the least of their worries? If you are the type to get outdoors and into the wild with your car, then looking good is not going to help no matter how close you are to the newer model.
If that's the case, you will probably spend your time looking at suspension coils, winches and all-terrain tyres. No matter what you plan to do with your Discovery, there is bound to be a useful upgrade out there waiting for you.

Micro-Loan Mobile Car Wash and Detailing Carts for a Global Franchise System

The other day, I talked with a gentleman asking about small auto detailing and car washing carts. These could be pushed around by hand just like ice cream carts or other street vendor type businesses - in any country, perhaps they might also be funded through micro-loans. The individual asking about all this wondered if we had ever gone into production with them, we hadn't actually, as we only made a few prototypes back in 1995-1997. Why didn't we launch full-scale production for such an obvious business model?
Well, I live in the US and at the time we were growing very fast, and business was so good, with our regular units we never went into production, however a copy company did make auto detailing carts back then - several other companies after that, one in Brazil, and several others. They've done okay, as I've heard. Then in Singapore and Hong Kong other manufactures has produced "full steam units" and had an importer in Long Beach CA. The other carts I've seen have used dry-wash concepts, kerosene mixed with polymer solvent solutions and wax.
The costs of our units made in the US were $800 for the prototypes, I felt as if at the time I could get the target price down to $485.00 but now with cheaper components, mostly Chinese generators and pressure washers, I believe $210. I've always believed that this concept lends itself to a viable "micro-loan" program - don't you think?
Consider if you will a business like this in Middle East? People still need to have their cars cleaned, and water is at a premium. A small cart with just a small water tank might do the trick, and the operator could rent the cart for the day from an entrepreneur, or get a micro loan and buy one for himself to run his own small business. It would also work well in Africa, and Asian markets, even in India. Think of all the street vendors, and the folks who use rickshaws to transport people around as a business.
What a wonderful strategy and idea to create another simple industry that puts people to work, and helps them participate in free markets while developing the local economy. It makes sense. Perhaps that's why I had conceived the concept back in the 1980s, but unfortunately never did anything with it until the mid-1990s when I built those prototypes. Nevertheless, although it probably wouldn't work too well in the United States except for only a few markets, it would certainly work in all the other countries in the world. Please consider all this and think on it.
